Loveland Planning Commission Likes Artwork, Plaza Details for The Foundry

Loveland Planning Commission members liked what they saw Monday evening when the developer of downtown The Foundry project shared details about the artwork and amenities planned for the public spaces.

A year ago, the commission OK'd the site development plan for the first phase of the development, which includes a 460-space city-owned parking garage, a public plaza and two apartment buildings with retail on the ground floor.

But at the time, the details of the plaza and the artwork that would dress up the structural concrete exterior of the four-story garage hadn't been worked out yet, so the developer and city staff went back to the commission Monday with many of those details.
